What we collect

Standards Test is a static calculator — your criteria selections are never sent to any server. All calculations happen in your browser and are discarded when you close the page.

We do collect standard analytics data via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity:

Pages visited and time on page
Browser type, OS, and screen size
Country-level location (not precise geolocation)
Referral source

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifying information.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. These are third-party cookies governed by Google's and Microsoft's respective privacy policies. You can opt out via your browser's cookie settings or browser extensions such as uBlock Origin.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics and 30 days in Clarity, per those platforms' default settings.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability of your data. Because we collect no personal data directly, any requests should be directed to the third-party analytics providers linked above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
